“Universal Balance” 120x120 cm, oil on canvas
This painting was commissioned by a friend of mine, who wanted to see in her house a unique, beautiful and meaningful art. She particularly requested that a certain ancient mystical symbol was depicted there, which meant a lot to her personally, but otherwise she allowed me to express freely my own vision and understanding of the idea of the eternal Universal balance. So I depicted the circular structures with the Sun and the Moon opposite each other being in the state of constant motion; the Tree of Life in the center of all Creation with Eternal Light emanating from its core; and the butterflies as a symbol of deep transformation, highlighting the everunfolding expansion of Universal Cousciousness…
“Archangel Samael” 100x75 cm, oil on canvas
I did this painting as per request of an Esotheric school in Varna, whos patron is this Archangel. Apparently, this is one of the most misunderstood and mis-represented beings in Theology. Since there are no adequate depictions of him, I was asked to get the necessary information in meditation. As a result, I received quite an accurate visual as well as functional description of him in terms of his position and role in this particular solar system. In short, he assists beings in their work with the Ego, as well as supervises the balance of powers… This commission was probably the most challenging, as well as the most exciting :)
